Demolition Man does an awesome job of mixing motion, humor, sci-fi in a timeless method. It has a nicely crafted opening scene that establishes Los Angeles in some sort of timeless nightmarish dystopian hellscape.
The longer term scenes are rather well accomplished. The costumes, the automobiles, the three seashells, the general tradition of the above floor mainstream tradition that has been gentrified and neutered, whereas the underground tradition of scavengers and thieves threat every thing to stay nearer to what they consider to be human.
I all the time love a powerful ensemble forged: Stallone, Snipes, Bullock, Benjamin Bratt, Nigel Hawthorne, Denis Leary, Invoice Cobbs, Bob Gunton, Rob Schneider and blink and you may miss them: Jack Black, Jesse Ventura and David Patrick Kelly.
This film is so re-watchable. Extremely suggest it if you have not seen it!
